It is Saturn devouring his children, which was part of what was known as the "black paintings". I believe Goya actually hung the original in his house (must have been nice when you where eating!).

I like that icon by the way, my favourite piece of Tennyson! I always maintain it's an excellent descrpition of what it is to be British in this age.
