Fred and George. Great exit. I'm all a-grinning.

I'm at page 750-something now. It's all gone to hell. Doesn't look like they'll have much of a school left standing by the year's end, the rate the staff is dropping off and the organization structure is breaking down.

I like the little Gestapo pack that Malfoy's running.

I never cared much for Fred or George in the previous books, but they've had a bit more character development this time (all the Weasely's have), and now I rather enjoyed their parts.

I think Potter's being a stupid git most of the time, but then I'm not 15 anymore so hopefully it's a sign of maturity on my part.

:snort:, :chuckle:

ok, they get official guest name tags that say "rescue mission"? That's funny.

This Spike icon?

I made it. It's from that dialogue line from Fight Club. I wrote a drabble about it on ff.net. Actually, the drabble was set post-Grave, and so the icon sort of fits the fic.

Vids are cool.

I am aware the quotes in the 'song' are from Fight Club...So weird. Again with you thinking like me. Wanna hear the song? Download 'This is Your Life' by The Dust Brothers. There was also a pretty neat DBZ video made to the song, also downloadable, that kinda inspired ours. Heh

:g: I've heard it, acutally. I watched a particularly entertaining Cowboy Bebop vid to it. It's weird that people from multiple fandoms want to vid it though... I mean, it was never even on the radio, and I think it only played for the movie's credits and DVD bonus music video. And yet, multiple people vid it. I'd like to see a BTVS verison.

Oooh... I love Fred and George in this book. They have some of the best lines and I absolutely love their exit. I was secretly wishing for some Fred and George style fireworks on the fourth. ;)

Of course, equally as delicious as Fred and George leaving is McGonagall's 'it unscrews the other way' comment to Peeves a bit later on (and since I saw a post earlier that said you've finished, I know you'll have read that far now).

McGonagall also kicked butt in this book and she easily moved into the place of my favourite female character.

I know what you mean. McGonagall suddenly seemed cool to me in this book, whereas before her character wasn't that interesting. THe same thing wiht Fed & George.

Yeah.

Probably because we simply got to see more of Fred & George so we got to know their characters better and with McGonagall, well we actually got to see her show some emotion, which mostly she doesn't in the other books. She gives out detentions and is stern and strict, but not much emotion-but in this book she takes Harry's side, if not actively, shows concern about Umbridge, frustration with the MoM, etc. Anyway... she did become much cooler. ;)
