Elizabeth, on the beach, during the night. She meets a lobstrosity. Because it's that special kind of island, and I've never done Stephen King fanfic before.

And Stephen King fic? *pants* Is there such a thing??? God, I never even thought about the fact that people have probably written Tower fic! I just got finished reading Wiard and Glass, and wow. I am so completely his bitch. Stephen King even does romance perfect. Bastard. He's my hero :)

I dunno... I'd assume so, but personally I've never read any. It'd be, like, sacrilage, ya know? I hold the Dark Tower books on such a pedestal that fanfic would simply be... wrong.

Yeah, I know. You know what cheers me up every time? All I have to do is think about his books and talent, and I get reminded of this wonderful point:

Stephen King is an amazing writer. And he chooses, willfully, to write science fiction, fantasy, and horror. Of all the genres to write in, we got him. I want to run up to all those snobs who dis fantasy as trash writing and say "Nya nya nya NYAAAA!! We got Stephen King and you DOOONNN'T!!!"
