And yeah, that was the problem with mine - the characterization faded in and out a lot. The longer one was at least an AU so I had kind of an excuse but yeah, I don't like to be reminded that it exists.

We haven't updated the web site in a while. but the first few stories of the sequel series, Necessary Evil, are in my livjournal memories. The rest of the series in on hold at the moment.
