timepiececlock1. FLCL or Furi Curi: thumbs-down.
Episode who knows, but near the end. Way to manic for me, and not in the fun way, in a bad way. Imbecillic.
Blue Gender: thumbs-up.
Episode 5. Giant alien bugs with twat-for-mouths! Post-apocalyptic dying cities! Death of a main character! Guns! Melodrama! Starving families! Giant alien bug body parts cast haphazardly about the scenery! Cool mood music! Fire! Death! Tragedy!
That's some neat shit.
EDIT: So. I think I just watched what amounted to a "loss of innocence" epsiode of Blue Gender. Too bad I missed the start last week. Oh well. I love the Adult Swim ads. I go on about that every time I watch the CN, but it's true. It's like there's so lame otaku who stays up late at night to watch these, and every once in a while during the commercial break he types a line or two into his LJ, and that becomes the Adult Swim ad. I should write to CN and tell them I like their ad campaign. I don't usually like TV ads.
