The first episode of Trigun is starting right now. Go! Scram! Watch now! Hop to it! Learn to love the Vash, and admire the icon psychodragon82 made. I think it was her.
How the show ended? Yeah, I did. I thought it resolved the main conflict-- Vash's character journey-- and yet was very open and hopeful for the future. Of course, I cried and stuff in episode 23. It was a harsh, bloody, painful journey.
Yeah, I think it did give Vash some closure, but I'm just bitter still about Woolfwood. I'll get over it. I still plan on buying the DVD, when I get some cash. I will always love my sweet Vash.
I have all of it, except I'm missing DVD #2. Loaned it to someone and actually forgot who I loaned it to, if you'd believe that. A horrible waste of my 30 bucks. I'm still bitter.
I'm with you on the Wolfwoodness-- he's my anime manbitch of choice, if I had to pick one. I have a little SD-Wolfwood keychain hanging from my car mirror; he's so cute. I balled so much-- for Millie too as well as for Vash and myself. I absolutely loved the show for giving us such a quiet, understated look at the WxM pairing; the writers were very restrained with those scenes and it just made everything all the more poignant when it all happened. Plus, there's the double-parallel of ending episode 23 with Millie screaming and having an almost identical scene of Vash screaming in epsidoe 25. That was cool too.
My favorite scene of the whole show was the execution-style death at the second half of episode 24. Wowssssssers.
