Yup, I never played soccer as a child. Instead, my school played "crocker". It's a bizarre combination of cricket and soccer. I won't go into details. It's all too painful to remember ... ;-)
:grin: I did play soccer. I liked it a lot, and stuck with it up through 6th grade. But I was alsways a slow runner and a not a very good goalie, so I got positioned as a full-back or a half-back, and rarely as a forward like I wanted. I could kick nicely though. I've never even seen anyone play cricket, but people tell me that it's confusing.
However, I did play soccer as well. Well, my version of playing soccer largely consisted of heading in the opposite direction of the ball and filing my nails, but that's another story ;)
