Oct. 3rd, 2003 10:38 pmJust watched Spike re-animate himself about 3 times in a row. It think it was good, almost theraputic. A complete reversal of what we all had to watch in May: his burning. How could we ever truly be ok again? We see his un-burning.. I can't wait till next week. Though, did it seem to you in the promo that he was slouching a lot and hiding in his coat? Where'd the stride go? Not that I woudl blame him for having no reason to stride, being what he's gone through. We'll see next week if that's the case.

Date: 2003-10-04 06:16 pm (UTC)Oh my god, I totally missed that! I'm such a bad shipper! ::prostrates on ground before Tia, a ka Buffy to Tara:: Forgive me! PLEASE FORGIVE ME!
I'm hoping the writers will explore the effect of his sacrifice though -- he can't really remain the same Spike after all that
Word to that. It will be hard, having such a complicated character dropped into another show, and it'd be like dumping all this stuff on an unsuspecting audience that has never heard of the guy (so to speak.) Of course, most people who watch Angel used to watch Buffy at some point, so it's not really an issue, but I can't help but worry that there's so much about Spike to get into, we'll be shortchanged because we have to allow for the four other characters too.
