Apparently Arnold lied in old interviews with stories about sex parties, and now he's saying he just made them up to exaggerate his image back then, or something. I can't figure which is more embarrassing-- having sex parties and being confronted about in while racing for an election, or lying about having sex parties and having to admit it while racing for an election.
And a part of me is preening like Anya, because sweet vengeance is being had for the whole Monica publicity thing. That's the shallower, colder part that would rather have Arnold embarrassed and humiliated as long as it kept him from being governor.
