Well, I voted.

I don't think it'll do much good, though.

All I can do now, is have hope in the better judgement of my fellow Californians.

Speaking of,

GET OFF YOUR CUTE ASSES AND VOTE DAMMIT! THERE'S STILL AN HOUR AND A HALF AND I DON'T WANT THAT ASSHAT ACTOR AS OUR GOVERNOR!

::cough:: If you already have, good on you.

National elections are ALWAYS held on the first Tuesday in November. There's elections that are going to happen in March (in California at least, I'm not sure about the other states) that I think are more local at the moment. What's happening today is a Special Election, brought on by the move to recall, but also carrying Propositions 53 & 53, which were bills proposed by the constituency of California (as opposed to the legislators), which will be voted on by the constiuency, and not the legislature.

I'm about 91% sure that all elections are held on weekdays. Nationally, 100% sure, but I'm not certain on local elections for other states.

The polls are open from 7am to 8pm. Most people vote before work, on their lunch breaks, or after work.
