I've been looking at the numbers of votes in the different geographical areas, and I feel like I'm living on an island here.

The numbers for the Bay Area (over 2/3 against the recall) are almost exactly inversely proportional to the numbers of Southern California, and Eastern-central California.

I think we should secede. All you LA Buffy fans, move up here so you can be with girlwithjournal, kimberly_a, evemac, and I when it all goes down. Plus we'll need smart people to help think up a new name for the state. Onward!
