Things I don't ever EVER want to hear about in my LJ, ever ever ever and I mean ever, like ever muplitplied times infinity, ever with as much emphasis as the word can allow, ever ever unless mentioned expressly in the negative meaning What The Shite Is This Crap:
The possibility of Spred. (Strangely, this is the only Spike romantic pairing I don't think I could take happening in canon. Though a Spuffer to the core I could deal with Spike/Faith, Spike/Harmony, Spike/Dawn, Spike/Willow, Spike/Angel, Spike/Wes, even Spike/Xander or Spike/Riley if the context was right. But the thought of Spred as anything more than friendship (which otherwise is quite sweet) just puts me instantly into gag phase. Even if
anniesj started writing it, I'd still be screaming.)
Angel and Buffy getting back together. (Really. Come on.)
How cool you think the Governor is.
How cool you think the President is. (though if either were to somehow go against their whole lives' work and do something wildly liberal and progressive enough to get them kicked out of the Republican Party you can bring that up.)
How cool you think the Republican party is. (except
sabrinanymph, because she's also a librarian and a Spuffy fan so the inner cool in her far outweighs her inner evil thus she's allowed, with luv.)
Excerpts from Ent/Elf NC-17 rated Lord of the Rings fic.
Other than that, most any topics is acceptable at least for a first try. Those are just the ones that set me off into unreasonableness. Which is, by definition, unreasonable, so don't be surprised if I get unreasonable. However, mocking is welcome. Ambivalence or apathy is perfectly fine. And
laurashalo, I'm not going to jump at your throat all mean and nasty-like because you hope the economy gets better and that the Schwartza hopefully isn't entirely an end of the world thing. I hope that too. Pessimistically, but I do. ::hug::

Date: 2003-12-04 03:50 pm (UTC)Look, it's ok. If I was mad that you brought it up I would have said it at the time. I wasn't putting this up because I want an apology from anyone, I just want to make a general statement, "These are things I don't want to talk about." Saying this comes with the assumption that probably only a good third of the people that even list me as their friend will happen to catch that one particular entry anyway.
I'm sure there's things you don't like to talk about because you just don't like it much. Spred just happens to be one of those things I don't like, and don't really ever want to discuss.
::pats Pixie's shoulder:: It really is ok. You don't have to be apologetic. I'm saying this because this way people will no what I don't like, and they won't bring it up, and hopefully no one will ever have to apologize for irritating anyone.

Date: 2003-12-04 04:42 pm (UTC)You've gotten hate mail? That's awful. I rant about B/A in my journal, but I think it's pointless to send hate mail to anyone. Not to mention, you know, incredibly rude and immature.
