So Al Gore is supporting Howard Dean, huh? Pretty early move for the Democratic Party. Verrrrrrrrrry interesting.

Just curious... was Clinton too moderate in your opinion? I have always heard a lot of appreciation of Clinton from many liberals and wondered if you wished he'd leaned more left or if his moderate views were appropriate for the 90s, but now it is time for the Democratic party to move away from the center?

I liked Clinton overall. I found him very charismatic, and for better or worse I trusted him as a leader. Then again, I was in middle school so it's not like it was a big thing for me. I had a world of sympathy for him over the Monica scandal, a damaging waste of time and resources I still haven't forgiven the Republican party for. But since taking more classes in school just basically growing up a little more, I've become more aware of ways, particularly regarding international trade, in which I am not in total agreement with some of the policies. But overall I supported his presidency. I loved some of the liberal things he did, particularly in creating Americorps. It's such a shame that program is now suffering from extreme lack of funds because of poor budgetting decisions by the current administration and disregard for its value. Clinton was also supportive of the environment, which I appreciated.
