I watched a cool ChrictonvsChricton vid to Tom McRae's A & B Song.

After getting a Tom McRae song or two along the way from [livejournal.com profile] saava, I'm beginning to think maybe I should try out buying one of his CDs.

Any suggestions anyone? I don't know anything about the artist or progression of his style or anything. Just tell me what his best CD is. Unless the best CD is the one that's all acoustic with talking-level vocals instead of singing, which is the problem I often have with Tori Amos. Though she has some songs I really like, she has many that bore me to death. I can't have just cool lyrics-- I need powerful instrumentals too for music that I fall in love with.

Tom only has two albums out so far, and neither are all acoustic with talking-level vocals. *g*

If you go to Tomination.org, you can find samples of all of his songs, and mp3s for a few of his live performances.
