Does anyone know of any archives that boast a large source of LOTR fanfiction beyond FF.Net?

Well, Hennuth Annun seems to be the gold standard. I haven't perused it much, but every story I've been pointed to has been excellent.

I don't have time to hunt down all the links right now, but if you go here (http://www.viragene.com/tolkien/) and look at the winners, some of the URLs will show you some sites. And don't forget Silverlake (http://www.imjustsayin.net/silverlake/)!

I don't read LOTR fic myself, so I can't really make recommendations based on personal knowledge, but a Google search turned up this page (http://www.rosiesamfrodo.com/users/kayrey/links.html) of LOTR site recs, this page (http://www.black-waltz.net/noiresensus/links_text.html) of LOTR/anime/HP/etc. site recs, and this page (http://thawrecka.topcities.com/linksAM.html) with all kinds of LOTR site recs (including fanfic), among others. Not sure if those will help, but I thought I'd give you the links just in case.

I don't know of a comprehensive archive that's out there right now, but I do know that [livejournal.com profile] twinkledru has been batting around the idea of setting one up, or at the very least a page linking to the current LotR archives on the internet.

Go pester encourage her to do this after she gets back from England! =)
