I'm trying to use bit torrent 3.3 but I don't think it's working very well. Or at all, really. It "starts"... but doesn't actually download anything and is frozen at 0%.

Is there a better version I should use? (old or new, I don't care)

Hmm...whenever I used it in the past, it took about an hour to pick up speed-- I did eventually get 120kb/sec, but getting there wasn't a quick process.

well, all it's doing for me is coming up with the window to save the file, and I say "ok" and then it gets the bargraph where it should be starting, but it doesn't actually download anything. It's stuck at 0%. Do you use version 3.3?

No, I used earlier versions...but I encountered the same phenonmenon.

If there is NO activity whatsoever after 15 minutes or so, you can probably discard it, though.

it could be the site you're downloading from. have you tried a couple of different ones, just to be sure?

i know suprnova is taking forever to get going, and keeps giving me "operation timed out" error messages along the way, whereas tvtorrents is working fine.

I think it could be the site, but I've been having problems with it before. What version do you reccomend?

And is there any way to search for bittorent sites? Should I just type "bittorent" into google, or what?

It's doing that to me, too, and I restarted the download like 8 thousand times before I realized it kept downloading after I clicked 'ok.' Aaargh.
