sidewalk_serfer_girl has updated _Leadbelly: She Wanted To Die_.

Color me deliriously happy!

----------

EDIT:

Have read chapter 30. ::screams, shudders, and dies on the spot::

----------

::is mysteriously revived for the purpose of fic talk::

The funky thing with this story is that it's not actually a song fic, but there's so many lyrics attached to the beginning, end, or scene-changes of each chapter that you'd almost think it was. Except it's really not.

It'd be more correct to say that the lyrics that surround the chapters are a part the mood of the fanfiction the way the music was part of the episodes of Cowboy Bebop. You can ignore it, and it doesn't really get in the way or interrupt, but if you stop to pay a bit of attention, it adds that extra flavor to make a rich story even richer.

she updatees once or twice a month, give or take. It's been through 50 chapters of She Wanted To Die, and is on chapter 30 of Leadbelly.

I accidentally read Leadbelly first (it was up to chapter 14 or 17 or something), and adored it even though I didn't know what was going on. Then I went back and read She Wanted To Die, and then reread Leadbelly. I've been a diligent fan ever since. I reccomend you catch up! It's sooooooo good right now. chapter 29 almost killed me. Now, off to read! ::waves::

I said the same thing a while ago. She did a few really cool snippets and showed them once.

Hey... you should read the above fic and its prequel! It's awesome. You'll squeal.

I was just looking at those interested in Spike/Faye and stumbled across your journal. Picture me excited when I witness you posting about Leadbelly.

It appears we have a few things in common (S/F, V/M and B/S).

Ciao for now.

well, those are all things that I like! Hello. If you're curious, I have some more opinions about both Trigun and CB in my LJ memories, under "anime reviews" category.
