Have found the Best. Naruto. Fic. Ever. No ships. Just a lot of angst and a lot of characterization and a lot of realizing that damn, life as a warrior, while productive, is. not. pretty.

I said that the children of Naruto reminded me of Ender's Game (as for adults, Kakashi could be Colonel Graff, if Graff was a walking talking weapon), and this fic definitely brings some of the ideas of EsG that are already present in Naruto to the fore. It's gritty, but so worth the read. Just look at the hour that I'm going to bed.
