Gah!

It's Faye's voice. Talking to Vash's voice.

Too weird. ::shudders::

This reminded me about my basic reaction when I first watched it in subbed: slooooooooooooooooooooooow. That hasn't changed with the English cast, I guess.

I still can't decide if Amon is very attractive or very ugly.

Actually, Amon's voice is the only one that I'm not really digging. The ones I mentioned above... they're surreal, but I could get used to them. Robin's voice is alright... it's familiar, but not so familiar as to be distracting. The others are alright too... the restaurant owner's voice is perfect and exactly what I would expect it to be.

Rewatching the first episode reminded me that this show is all about the character build up. It will be interesting to follow in the English version.

What's up with the opening? It's not the one from the original. But I'm trying to remember if maybe the first episode did have a different introduction than the rest.

Where did the the vague and ominious mock-historical XFiles-y quotes go? I hope they haven't dropped them completely.

Actually, he used the sand to immobilize the other guy completely. And hey, if it works, don't knock it.

The show goes through a wide range of psychic powers being exercised.
