This is my favorites list on FF.net. I think it has a lot of the stories that you've already read, but there might be a few you haven't. Check it out if you wanna.

I'll look. I usually do entries like this a lot-- when it's getting late and I have fic I want to read, I save the urls in my journal to go back to later.

YOu should check out my favorites list! My profile is at the top of my journal uner the "My Fanfic" link.

Question: You have watched The Exorcist, right?

No. But I haven't read the above fics, either.

Actually, I have no intention of watching The Exorcist. Has no interest for me.

Lol, okay, Lol.

I haven't really watched it either, :P I was just curious. Read the fics though.

Another question, (a very blunt one at that), eh, make that two actually.

Ever heard of Angel Sanctuary?

Umm, this is the blunt one, you're not religious are you?

I've heard of Angel Sanctuary, but what I've read of it and how people have described it to me, I don't think I really want to watch it. It doesn't sound like the kind of anime I usually enjoy. But people have told me it's interesting.

Umm, this is the blunt one, you're not religious are you?

 Not at all. Although, my not being religious doesn't have any connection to my not wanting to watch The Exorcist, if you were wondering. The two subjects aren't connected.

HUh. Thaks for the link. It looks... weird but not uninteresting. Could you describe it to me in comparison to one or two other anime?

I'll sort of semi-compare it with Witch Hunter Robin then.

I suppose I have to start out with a basic summary of CC. Anyways it's an adventure, gothic sort of anime of a duo who are very much dependent of each other. I've emphasized the word dependent because they are literally dependent of each other. The main character, Rosette is Chrno's (the demon) contractor. Chrno's source of power is the Astral Line, put it short, a power source for all demons. Chrno's horns are sort of like this receptor that draws power from the Astral Line but he doesn't have it;the horns. The alternative method of drawing power from the Astral Line is from the soul of a human, because the Astral Line is pretty much a river of souls. In this case, Rosette's soul. But the key thing is, whenever he uses his power, Chrno shortens Rosette's life, symbolized by the awfully wierd pocket watch hanging around her neck.

Rosette is looking for her brother Joshua, kidnapped by a demon Ion who raised a rebellion against a society called Pandemonium, a demon society.

Continuing on, Rosette joined this organization called Order of Magdalene, basically a group of exorcists. This is where Witch Hunter comes in because they also have a similar idea that does this sort of thing...not really of course. The Order of Magdalene kills demons that appears in the city, this where Rosette and Chrno comes in(as seen in the first episode). Rosette is a trigger happy girl, she loves guns and she loves shooting.

In a way, Witch Hunter and Chrno Crusade are pacing in the same atmosphere although Chrno is just a tad more brighter (only in the earlier episodes..I think). But it does get darker because each characters have their own past, their own secrets, layered with the problems of the present. Especially Rosette, her brother Joshua is a little mental and has this utter devotion to Ion, their primary enemy. She's naive when it comes with her brother which causes a few problems along the way because Joshua ultimately becomes her enemy. Adding another problem is the choice between her life and Chrno. She can live without Chrno but Chrno can't live without her.

Eh, I tried my best, I didn't give away too much, but the obvious once. ^^ I've avoided adding other tidbits of information that relates with the contractor and Ion and Joshua. Umm...does it help or do you need more? Ask away.

Eh, admittedly, the OVA is bad, extremely, the manga was awesome of course which is why I try to forget the OVA as much as I could and focus on the manga. ^^

[not a very convincing brat isn't she?]

Not at all. Although, my not being religious doesn't have any connection to my not wanting to watch The Exorcist, if you were wondering. The two subjects aren't connected.

Oh I wasn't connecting the two, it just occured to me that I have to warn you about Chrno Crusade, that's all. Although you have my utmost assurance that I do love it (just watched 10, 11, and 12, not quite sure how long CC is seeing as it was aired in Japan only late last year) and I would recommend anyone to watch it despite my warnings. If it helps, it's comparable to Witch Hunter Robin.

Say, exorcism, using guns?

*meekly* I'm quite mortified at the moment.

If push comes to shove, I should provide you some information about Chrno Crusade if you haven't already done some of your own research.

I'll give it to you whether or not you've done research. It's the only fan site that provides extensive information about CC. I also have the manga version up to volume six which is great. ^^ I can't wait for the next batch of episodes.
