Fruits Basket story idea: Tohru is a freshman in college at an exclusive culinary arts school, recovering from the terrible traffic accident she was injured in, the summer before her collee started and after hihg school graduation. As she slowly regains her health and starts her college life, she begins to have dreams, about someone locked in a dark room, someone she has to save. She becomes obsessed with finding out what the dreams mean, eventually leading her to discover the Sohma family and the truth of what her life was really like before the accident.

Hmm... what do you think? I'll probably never write it, but it's a thought.
