timepiececlockBrought Easter dinner to my grandma's apartment tonight. As we were leaving, I got to the elevator before my parents. I noticed that not only had the flyer from this morning been turn upright again, but someone had had the nerve to tack another paper up on the tacky-board beside it, with the same thumb-tack. This would not do. So I took the new one and retacked it upside down.
It slid around the tack at an angle and hung there pathetically. For a moment I had great respect for the person that had managed to tack two 8-by-11 papers together and have them stay upright with a single tack; then I remembered that this was the kind of meticulous person my new hobby existed to irritate. I tried fixing it. My dad entered the elevator, then my mom.
ShakaDada: "Why are you messing with that?"
ShakaBerry: "It was falling down. I'm fixing it."
I managed to get it to tuck into the side of the tack board and sort of balloon outward, but stay steady and straight at least. Ride stopped, we stepped out, and walk toward the lobby exist.
ShakaDada: *looking back* "Shaka, that was upside down."
ShakaBerry: "That part I was messing with."
Please pleas please say something so I can then be witty and rebellious.
