Today I ended up thinking about DragonBall Z fic while driving home from school. Skipping over the complex stream of consciousness backstory, I ended up thinking about this plot bunny I had about 2 or so years ago about an AU timeline where everyone died from the Androids except Vegita and Gohan (as opposed to Gohan, Trunks, and Bulma), and Vegita ended up raising Gohan through his pre-teen and teenage years. Having Vegita as a parent combined with having everyone else he knows and his family murdered would produce a fascinatingly angry young man, who in ways resembles Mirai Trunks in the canon timeline, but just a little bit angrier and maybe a little bit crueler too, because even if he didn't like the man, being raised by Vegita during his adolescence would have lasting effects.

It would have been all angsty and stuff. Never got around to writing it. I dunno if I even could now... my canon knowledge has severely diminished for that show. Though I was always more about the fanfic for that series than I ever was about the actual episodes.
