Oh. This is the episode where IY gets blamed for slaughtering Kouga's tribe. I always thought that was a clever trap. Saw this in subtitled.
Wait... THAT'S Kagura's English voice?
That's... so incredibly fucking cool. Who else has this actress done, I wonder. She sounds familiar, and yet not. Good casting choice though.
EDIT: Sadly this episode also illustrates one of my main gripes with this series: the need to explain everything verbally that we already just saw visually. This show is far too explain-y of very simple developments. Something happens, and then the characters have to take time out and explain it. Which would be fine, except that I just finisehd seeing it milliseconds ago and thus don't need an explanation, you know.

Fruits Basket
Date: 2004-04-20 09:48 pm (UTC)My dad has a DVD recorder. I just installed a DVD reader on my own comp. I'm going to take all my Fruits Basket eps and collect them onto one DVD. Then I can mail you the [[::searches for word that means "rendered useless by way of replacement" and fails to find it::]] CDs! That way you get the whole collection. Also, I've been saving all the good FB music vids I come across on the same discs, so you'll get a few of those. :)
