Haha ha. ::satisfied wicked laugh:: Measter what's-his-blue-face is dead. Deader than dead dead. I beat his screaming mummy-shell demon and whooped his icy little minions. That'll teach him trying to out-magic me!
Of course, my characters are now being hunted down for murder-- but, hey, he was evil! What? That excuse doesn't work? ::whines:: But it works on Buffy! Killing the bad guy who murder his own father for power is a perfectly legitemate hero pastime! Besides, he was trying to marry off my main's guy's love interest to gain even more power, and that's just not right! And I got bunches of power/magic upgardes for it...
I mean, who really cares about all the terror we've cause by killing the high-est ranking religious figure on this mucky little anti-indsutrialist game-world, anyway? I mean, it'll do no more than cause mass panic among the already terror-stricken populace, and possibly incite civil war between two races that were just earlier this morning co-existing peacefully. I mean, evil, had to go!

Hah. I love yelling at the tv when I play this game.

Wanna know something really sad though? Earlier I mentioned that Final Fantasy X had too much story dialogue.... well the english voice-acting in the PS-2 game FFX is better than in Inu-Yasha, and on-going popular anime series that already has 50+ dubbed eps (though it's not all out on CN yet). How sad is that?

Kingdom Hearts is the Disney/FF crossover extraganza. But, since it's more of a game like Zelda than FF, and the camera's basically busted, the game is somewhat frustrating.

As for FFVII, it was monumental for its time, but the ending had me scratching my head. FFVIII was just coolness personified since it had more of a mature theme and a specific romantic tilt like FFX. FFIX was the throwback to the old school FFs back on the SNES with black mages, crystals, and one badass mofo.

As for your comment on FFX being simple, I gotta agree with you. Although, I love the more strategic element in this one since you have access to all your members instead of the dedicated few that the previous ones left you with. If you're just interested in the story, I know there's a FFX DVD out there that contains just the CG movies (all in all, it's about six hours long). Just a thought.

Yeah, a friend of mine has the DVD. I didn't realize it was that long though-- six hours? No wonder it feels like they're constantly talking in this game.

Well, it was the first time a FF used voice, so they were bound to go a bit overboard :) I'm sure they'll learn their lesson for FFXII (since XI is the MMORPG I'll be avoiding it like the plague; I want plot in my RPGs thank you very much).
