I skipped Inu Yasha tonight. I remember this ep and I didn't much like it the first time around. Next week's episode though-- that's a good one.

I did watch Wolf's Rain ep#3. In comparison to most anime, this has lovely art and lovely music. However, the story... it's so average. It's so... mundane. It's a normal anime bishounen plotline with one-dimensional characters from same production company that made CB, which was full of fascinating plotlines and extraordinary characters. I can't help but compare them, and Wolf's Rain suffers for the comparison. Not because it's bad or anything--- it's just not great.

And the little one is just so fucking annoying.

Oh well. This is only episode 3 after all, and there's two dozen more eps to go. I'll be watching next week as usual.

Oh god--- am I going to be able to watch cable in my dorm at UCI? I can't lose Cartoon Network-- it's kill me! Gotta find a way, gotta find a way...

Although later on in Wolf's Rain, there are random Native Americans that show up, and that sort of makes everything better.

I liked the Random!NativeAmerican in CB. Even though he fortold Spike's fate (jerk!) he did have a PlayStation in his tent, and how can you not dig that?

And I hate that Tsume has better hips than I do.

Word. I do like his leather outfit though.

Oh man, I forgot all about that guy! Bwahaha. There needs to be more random Native American gamers running around in anime, because oh the crack.

... what do their voices sound like in the dub, incidentally? Been wonderin'.

A lot from Trigun and Witch Hunter Robin.

Um... Kiba is Vash is Sakaki. Tsume is Amon. The yellow one is Young!Knives. The little annoying one has androgynous voice that doesn't help his androgynous looks, and I know him from somewhere, but I can't remember.

Does the show ever explain why none of these wolves have families? Like, where's their parents? How come they're all males? You don't have to answer the questions themselves, just a yes or no on if they're brought up at all.

Ack. Need to brush up on my English voice actors, I see. (which ... shouldn't be hard, since there are, like, ten.)

There are indeed female wolves, and the episodes I've watched haven't gone into backstory, so I am not sure about families/place of origin etc. Maybe they spawn from spooooores. Or, uh. Wolf's Rain physics and biology? Is truly a joy to see. That is, I WEEP.
