I found a very large trailer HERE for the final Fruits Basket DVD-- in ENGLISH. It's incredibly spoilery, but damn I love Akito's creepy-soft English voice. I'm so going to buy these DVDs at FanimeCon. In 2.5 weeks!

On a totally not-so-random note, as Psycho has been planning to do this since yesterday ... how often/hard would I have to poke/prod/attempt bribery for more chapters of Mon Autre Vie? *bats eyelashes* I loaded it on to my iPod at gobbled the chapters up at work like a wonderful, rich chocolate.

I'm glad it's creepy, because I also watched all of Neon Genesis Evangelion in subbed before seeing any dubbed episodes, and later I was floored with disappointment at how lame Gendo's voice was in English, when it was so unsettling and scary in Japanese, even just in normal conversation tones.

I've yet to see the dub for FB, but I hear that it's pretty good for Funimation, which is usually bad.

Oh my gosh, some one out there has actually read that fic?

That's got the lowest reviews I've ever gotten for any fanfic. I've sort of assumed it's definitely a "writing it for my own pleasure" fic. I think it's because the summary is so vague and sounds AU... I didn't want to spoil the plot of the story in the summary. It's kind of AU-ish in that it branches off from canon at some point in time, but it's not completely AU in the way that it's a total different universe with different character roles.

Gah. I have so many ideas for that fic, but I am kind of at a stalled point. I want to rush ahead... but I also want to make an effort to make this fic more paced since I _always_ cheat and rush ahead to the dramatic parts. I even did that a bit with chapter 4.

I'm actually having great fun with symbolism in writing that though... which works well because FB is All.About.The.Symbolism.

Also, I picked "plum" on a whim for a fruit to name Tohru... and then I read the part with the "fruit on your onigiri's back where you can't see it, only see that of others" in the manga... and Kyo said Tohru's fruit was a plum! ::dances happily:: I so called that, and it had been forever since I'd seen that episode. I didn't even remember that at all.

Anyway, yes, I plan to do more for it! I've actually figured out a lot of where I want it to go and the as-yet-unexplained-background... but I'm still figuring out how to get to *that* point from where I am now.

And I'm also trying to write my HP/Hamlet fic, and to write my Naruto yaoi fic with Kakashi. ::deep sigh:: And I still have 6 weeks of school....

Yes, yes! Psycho was super happy to see that you wrote FB fic. Psycho read and enjoyed muchly. Psycho was very sad when she read the end of chapter four because there was no more.

Yeah. The first time i just thought it was part of the "notice how cool and stylish a dresser Kyou is" thing they have going (which I bought into hook, line, and sinker, of course.) But I did notice upon rewatching the Kagura intro episodes that she mentions that she even loves him in his other form, and he reacts badly. Like Tohru, I had completely forgotten about that scene by the time the final episodes arrived.
