Have I mentioned that I just *love* the English versions of the opening and closing songs for Fruits Basket? Love love love love love.
Love love love love love. I love them as much as I hate Hatori's English voice.
How is it that they got the singer to match the Japanese singer so perfectly? :sigh: Me is happy.

jeanstarwind brought Fruits Basket with her so we could watch them. I'm really looking forward to it, honestly. I'm not a huge anime person but I've heard so many good things about these I'm rather excited!

It's wonderful. I recommend watching the subtitlted version first time around if you can, if only for any episode with Hatori in it. But either way, you should love this show. It's so lovable. And beneath that love there's a deep well of angst just waiting to be fic-i-fied. It really goes across the whole emotional spectrum.
