Just went to first college party.

Was fun. Classmate's 19th birthday. There was dancing to very loud music in the garage, with neat lights. Some of the music was rap (not so cool) but the rest was Indian trance/club stuff-- which was pretty different than what I'm used to, but at least I could dance to that. Can't dance to rap.

Best thing: met hot guy. A little short, but hella nice body. Name of Andrew; will be 19 years old in November; vietnamese.

He was slightly high (he said), but he said it was beginning to wear off at that point. I don't know, but talked clearly-- funny though because he kept apologizing thinking he was gonna say something stupid. I just hope he wasn't talking with me only because he was high (I'm a little insecure, if you can't tell, though I hide it well). But he asked me for my phone number first (yes!) though I was looking around for a pen to ask him anyway. Also funny: we talked for nearly an hour, from school to home life to music to the bloody horrors of having your wisdom teeth removed. He'd said he'd seen me out ther dancing, and asked if I was into partying much. I said I was into dancing (and liked glow sticks cause I didn't know what to do w/ my hands when dancing), but not drugs or alcohol or smoking.

Party: fun (v. v. good)
Alcohol units: 0 (also v. good, cause was offered)
cake units: 1/2 piece (good)
incapaticating chemicals: 0 (wasn't offered anyway)
dancing: much
hot guys met: 1, really
snarky brats trumped with stones & style: 1, w/ his friends watching

There was this cute Indian guy (the party had a lot of Indians and Asians--I was like of of five white people) who was messing around and ended up daring me to "do something... with candle wax." I asked him what, and he mumbled something about white people being something or other (I think it was "afraid"), and I asked him what he wanted me to do, pour it on my hand?

He said yeah, and I shrugged and poured a lot (like a huge puddle)into my palm. Hello, its candle wax-- not that hot. I've been playing with candles since I was a little kid. I flicked a bit at his direction a second after (his snotty attitude was annoying), and he got all offended and was like "That burns, look at my neck, its all red." I sort of looked at him like he was an idiot, and generally gave the impression I thought he was a total wimp and should stop whatever he was trying for with this line fo conversation.

Though he, or was it someone else, did say I "had balls"-- made me grin, cause I was impressing the audience (his friends) more than he was.

Then he kept muttering about wanting to something "more", and I pointed out that he hadn't done anything yet, and he kept on about the candles, wanting to pour out a lot of wax at once into my hands. I pointed out that I didn't have big enough hands for that and it was stupid because it would still cool down fast and wouldn't really burn.

Him: "What if you pour it closer to the flame?"
Me: "...what?" (how does that make sense? This is a candle)
some other guy: "Dude, give it up, she's smarter than you."

A very entertaining moment. Pleased I'd won that encounter/conversation, I said "You do whatever you want; I'm going dancing."

Not too shabby an exit line, all things considered.

Not too shabby an exit line AT ALL.

You go girly. Sounds like you had a proper nice time. Wish I had. lol.

Anyway, way to go showing up the guy. Arrogant assholes like that really need to be shown up in front of their friends. You've done us all a public service. Much appreciated!
