5 minutes in:
Oh thank god, this is much more tolerable in anime form than in manga.
Huh. At least there's some attempt at a little characterization and they're not totally just thrown together like so many pancakes. It's possible I could even like this at some point.
Ooooooo...the demons get dusted just like on Buffy. Doesn't seem very plausible, being as they're not vampires and last I heard scythes didn't come with vaporize-your-enemies as a standard option. Maybe he paid extra.
Oh my gosh, I know what this show is. This show is the yaoi verson of Fushigi Yuugi. Look at those character and scenery designs.
I suppose I can dig that. I liked FY.

Date: 2004-07-27 09:37 am (UTC)It takes two whole seasons, but they finally drop the demon dusting. *nods* And then when the demons die there are, you know, bodies.

Well, that's definitely one way to look at it... ;-)

Date: 2004-07-27 10:01 am (UTC)Good. I like how they do it on Inuyasha-- sometimes there are bodies, sometimes there are half-bodies that partially melt, and sometimes there are no bodies. But it's nicely varied and when there's no body it's usually because they're simply burned to vapor in a power blast.
Well, that's definitely one way to look at it...
Well... I'm 5 episodes in and the theory has yet to be disproved. Though I'm not as immediately addicted as I was to FY, nor as immediately attached to any of the characters.
