how do you make those paper string toys?

In recently made Sleepy Hollow film, Tim Burton version, Johnny Depp as Ichabod Crane uses a paper and string toy to relax him and help him think.

I want to make a toy like that as a gag gift (with a different set of pictures on it), but I don't remember exactly how it works. And I don't have the movie to just look at it and figure it out.

Does anyone remember exactly how they're made/work? I know you have one picture on each side of the paper disk that you want to merge together with the optical illusion, and it's on string... but I don't remember if it's one string or two, or exactly how it's attached to the string. Or any details, really.

Anyone have any ideas? Or have the movie and want to tell me what it looks like in the movie?

It's two bits of string, one on each side of the disc. You twizzle them to make the disc rotate.

Pretty much just 2 pictures on a string that you twist. I got the caps for you if you want to look at it more closely.

thank you, that's perfect. I had it kinda backwards in my head, where the string should be connectected. This helps a bunch. :)
