octopedingenue kills her fandoms. Well I kill... my favorite male character in almost every show I watch. I watched Fushigi Yuugi and I killed Nuriko. I watched Eva and I killed Kaji. And then it was Vegita and Mirai Trunks (they got revived, but still!) and then after that there came Wolfwood and then it was Spike the vampire with a soul (revived, but still!), John Crichton of Farscape, then Spike Spiegel, then Lt. Colonel Hughes... ALL MY FAVORITE MALE CHARACTERS KEEP DYING. What is up with that?

Am I now going to have to worry about Colonel Mustang dying, or Kyo Sohma or Shigure Sohma, or, god forbid, Kakashi?!?

Being an anime fan is hard.

Well, Spike was already dead in Buffy... and then they brought him back, so technically, he just moved on a for a bit, then came back!

Really? Well, I quit after the second OAV set when I realized that deep down I am a Tasuki/Miaka shipper, and someone told me in Eikoden Miaka and Taka have kids or something.

Taka/Miaka shipper myself. And yes, at the end of the manga Yuu Watase has Taka and Miaka married and with a young son. (In Eikouden we find out they married after Miaka graduated high school and Miaka got pregnant on their honeymoon- heh! Keisuke teases Taka a bit about that.)

I was Taka/Miaka in the general accept-it-because-it's-canon sense until the second OAV, when I decided Taka/Tamahome was really too perfect for Miaka (I always kinda thought this) and would eventually get bored with her, and Tasuki's character was much more suited to Miaka's character emotionally. Plus he was already in love with her so it wasn't too far of a stretch.

I loved Keisuke. And what's his name, his friend (it's been so long since I watched that show's second season). Yui/what's-his-name by the end of the show was SO cute.
