1. Where can I download last week's (most recent aired) episode of Stargate: Atlantis? My damn VCR recorded the wrong channel.

2. What's Samurai Champloo about and where can I download it if I were so inclined?

Samurai Champloo is an extremely entertaining story set in olden day Japan, but with a hip-hop soundtrack and style.

Mugen and Jin are both wandering samurai who happen upon Fuu in a village, and through a series of events, come to agree to help her find another samurai, one who "smells of sunflowers". (From what I heard, dried blood smells like sunflowers, so whoever this guy is, he's going to be interesting if/when they do find him).

Basically, they're wandering from town to town, trying to find this guy while avoiding starvation and getting killed by bandits and various other hooligans they might cross paths with.

A few folks have compared the main three characters to those of Cowboy Bebop. Spike = Mugen, Jet = Jin and Fuu = Faye. While they're similar archetypes, I don't see that they have much in common beyond that. I love the show, some people have expressed disappointment with how it's gone. You may like it.

Yeah, Champloo is a samurai series with a hop-hop beat, pretty funky, with it's lovely art and all, but it seems to me a very typical anime series, if you remove all the eye candy. So nothing really new, I say. *shrugs*
