I was enthusiastically singing along to Third Eye Blind's "A Semi-Charmed Life" in the car today and twice the channel was interrupted with a commercial due to some technical error on the broadcasters' part.
There's nothing as jarring as being involved in a song with words you know by heart that go as fast as that song does, and having yourself viciously yanked out of your music zone in the middle of the song in the private concert hall of your car. Twice.
It really really bites.

Date: 2004-08-24 01:01 am (UTC)I was just wondering something, and I feel weird asking this, I was just wondering if you'd ever consider friending me. heh, sorry if I sound like a dork, cause I am. ^_^

Date: 2004-08-30 10:26 am (UTC)To be honest, I've stopped friending people almost entirely. I have too many people on my flist to keep track of right now, and I rarely look at my flist anyway to see the journals of the people I do have. My journal is an open one, though, and I post to public viewing about 85% of the time.

Recently on one of the college stations, they kept getting the roll between songs wrong and they would play one song over another at random and repeated moments. It was deeply frustrating, especially as they were playing some fine reggae that day. (I realize this is an oxymoron for some people)
