Um, I watch Yu Yu Hakusho. And thorougly enjoy it. Sure, it sucked at the beginning, but it's gotten much better. By the way, YYH thinks you suck too :p

Rashaka, I re-watched ep 13 of "Fruits Basket" today to listen to young!Akito/Alphonse. Hmmm. He's got a Southern accent, which doesn't mesh well with my mental!Alphonse, but he can certainly sound scary when he tries, and the timbre is right. I feel much better about him than I do about this guy as Ed. His voice is toooo deeeeeep. (It does not help that I am totally head-over-heels in love with Ed's Japanese voice actor. Yes, I know she's a girl. Yes, I still want to have her babies.)

I've watched and really liked "Case Closed"/"Detective Conan" on Adult Swim, but I can't for the life of me remember who Caitlin Glass' character was. However, Chris Sabat as Armstrong is OMGPERFECT. He was Ayame in "Fruits Basket" as well, you see. OMGPERFECT!!

I already knew about Chris Sabat. And while I don't like seeing the same actor in like the 6th major series, at least I know he can probably pull it off. Think: Vegeta's deep rolling grumble meets Ayame's hyperactive enthusiasm.

At first I thought Al was gonna be the younger Yuki, but I read today it's young Akito. I'm okay with it... he sounded about the right age. And like a boy... I didn't like that Momiji was voiced by a woman so I'm glad they're not doing that. For some reason that never works as well in dubs as it does in japanese. Plus, the accent thing can be altered. :D


Speaking of voices-- I still have trouble believing Ed's actor is female. Every time I listen to 15years!Ed sounds so much like a boy to me, with a deep voice. I know it's true... but my ears lie to me. Damn them!

I'm in love with Ed's voice too. Especially when he's being stern or morose or calmly apathetic. Like in the car in episode 48 with Mustang. Breaks my damn heart.

But I'll check out that link later when i'm not at work. Thanks.

Ah. I have some of the manga for FMA saved, but I've only read the first chapter so far. I'll be catching up soon though.

Did you read/watch Fruits Basket? I know you thought about starting it.

Nah, I pretty much gave up on Fruits Basket. Couldn't really get into it. Been spending too much time obsessing about Wolf's Rain and the new RahXephon movie.

Wolf's Rain? I stopped after episode 4 when the land-mine failed to explode and kill the little one.

I hope it got better as it went along.
