Last night in a moment of fan nostalgia I downloaded a Sailor Moon music vid. I watched it just now-- turns out it's all from the last episode.

You know, I had forgotten that nearly all the main characters actually died at the end of season one. Then again, that was the best season. Though not for that reason.

Now you've got me curious. What's your reason for liking season one the best?

I like three and five the best. I guess I'm more of a fan of the drama angsty seasons. ^_^

I just liked it best. None of it was so repetive back then, and I really enjoyed how they found each other, how Mamoru and Usagi's identities were discovered and then revealed. I like Mamoru's black-outs and dreams of the moon princess, and I liked Usagi's changes and growth as she not only took on the SM role, but also once Mamoru was captured and she had to do without him. I liked the generals, and the Moon Kingdom subplot. Also, I really did like the final episode, and the way everything of the previous year was supposedly erased and never happened. There was a kind of romanticism to the first season that wasn't quite as nice in the later seasons. Also, by the later seasons Usagi and Mamoru were together and "made for each other" and too happy so they had to think up really stupid plotlines to keep them apart. Pretty much everything after Rini arrives I started to get really ticked at every Usagi/Mamoru storyline there was. At least during the arc in the beginning of SM R with the alien tree, Darien's loss of memory almost was a reversal of the first season.

I enjoyed all of SM to a point, and I have seen it all. But overall it held my interest strongest in the first season.

By third season, do you mean the second half of Sailor Moon R, with Rini, or do you mean Sailor Moon S, the season with the outer scouts?

I definitely think season one was better than two and four. But then again I'm no fan of Chibi-Usa, no matter how hard I try and like her I just can't. I think it's because when I first saw her it was as Rini... *shudders* and I can't get past that, also Pink Sugar? what kind of attack is that? Really now.

When I say season three I mean SMS, I love the outers with all my heart! However, I also luff the Three Lights which is why it is hard for me to pick between three and five. I also thought they had the best stories. For three with the Death Busters and the Saturn/Mistress 9 arc, and then five with Galaxia and the Animates. Also in season five Mamoru is dead for the better half of it, and I hate to say it but I really love that. I use to like Mamoru, I swear I did but somewhere along the line I lost it. I was never big on Tuxedo Mask/Kamen and oh dear god I hate the Moonlight Knight! Also I'm a Seiya/Usagi fan *points to icon* those two were just so cute together, and he loved her so damn much!

heh, sorry about the rambling, I tend to get long winded when I discuss anime! ^_^
