Fucking fucking fucking hell.

This is what I get for adding someone to my friends list after reading just one post.

I have a VERY VERY short straw for mean-spirited immaturity and peopel who talk before they think. Like, one inch short. I like honesty-- in fact I'm a participant in the "hard truth over easy illusion" way of living--- but honesty does not mean rudeness. And this isn't doing anything to make my opinion of that... demographic any better. I had hoped that having differing opinions wouldn't necessarily mean we couldn't enjoy conversation on the subjects we *do* agree on, without resorting to name-calling when the other comes up.

My tolerance for internet drama isn't. IS NOT. As in, it simply doesn't exist.

Not even potential internet drama. I don't want to think about having to "deal with" it, and therefore I refuse to let it culminate or build. In fact I'm not even fond of real-life "drama" between people, because it's such a fucking waste of time. It's why I stopped particpating in group discussions at my father's family reunions.

And I know this doesn't make much sense, but-- venting here.

I'm gonna nip this in the bud and solve the problem now.

I think theferrett just has an unhealthy obsession with being more-feminist-than-thou and with rape as the ultimate unforgivable crime. I still can't believe he said that rape is worse than murder. He never responded to my comment, but I do still wonder if he ever asked any of these rape victims he knows if they would rather have been killed. I somehow doubt it.

Ooooookay. I'm not going to get worked up about all that again.
