What would be a good image for the line "In the tempest thrust him forth, " I was wondering maybe something from Get It Done... but I can't come up with anything precise.

Hmm. I'm not sure. It seems like probably anything would work. Spike getting yelled at by Buffy, or fighting the demon, or maybe after he's dropped the demon and is hunched over with everyone in Buffy's house once she's returned? I'm sure you can think of somethin'!

That's the one tricky thing about making icons. When you have a phrase you want to use, it's wicked difficult sometimes to come up with the perfect matching image. Doesn't it make you feel fannish, too? Think about it... we'd have to know almost every single moment of the series clear in our minds to really think of every option and come up with the perfect pic. And most of us do. It's almost scary.

Heh. Scary indeed. We're all just a bunch of big freaks. ;)

Usually I don't have too hard of a time coming up with an image to go with text. It's almost always the other way around for me (I have an image and no text). But that line I'm really not sure of.

Most of the time for me it's having a series of images to pick from, and not knowing which to choose to get it right. So I frequently end up making more than one version of the same icon.
