I am so surprised that they had Al brought back as a child with no memory. I mean, I am surprised he came back at all, but even more so that he came back as he was. It makes sense, but... but it just surprises me.

I think it's good though. It harkens back to all the horrible things that happen to children in this series... finally here's something good that happens to a child. He gets back his innocence. He is spared all that pain and gets to start over. And since he was the younger brother and it was not his idea in the first place to bring their mother back (not that he wasn't guilty for that too, but we know Edward suggested it and Al wouldn't have done it without Ed)... in a way that's good. He gets to have that innocence he was denied before. Ed always felt responsible for Alphonse's condition/loss of innocence, and in a way he very much was so, and now he's given his brother all of that back.

It is sad, though, that Edward doesn't know Al's fate.

Still, this show ended so... hopefully. And that's a beautiful way for the most painful show ever to end.

And... I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE THAT NO ONE I LOVE DIED! ROY DIDN'T DIE! MY BOYS DIDN'T DIE! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT BUT EVERYONE IS ALIVE!

And I'm kinda surprised that Gluttony didn't eat Wrath.
