I'm trying to think of ways I can drop hints to my parents to say "I want America: The Book by John Stewart & Co for Christmas" without outright saying "I want America: The Book by John Stewart & Co for Christmas."

I have to go buy that book! Every time I see a commercial for it I want it more and more. ^_^

"Mom, Dad ... you know, Jon Stewart and Co have a book out that could prove to be interesting. And, since I'll have a bit of free time over the holidays, that'd be a nice time to get it."

Off the top of my head ... it'd take me a few tries to come up with something more ... nuanced.
