I'm going home in 3 hours! Yes! Back to my parents and my house and my dog and sane people.

On another topic: I got hit with the plot bunnies this morning while watching this Fruits Basket video about Shigure. Suddenly I thought, "Self, why not write a romance about Shigure and his editor?" And then myself answered:

"Because when you watched the show the idea of them as a pairing never entered within 200 feet of your thought process."

"But Self, just because I never considered it before doesn't mean it can't be done. I mean, they have a kooky kind of chemistry, and they seem to understand each other."

"You just think Shigure is hot."

"Hey, Shigure is hot."

"True."

"He lazes around his house all day yet still has a great body."

"You know that won't last once he hits thirty."

"Self, you are ruining my Shigure fantasy! Shut up. I'm going to write a romance fic and that's that. Plus, don't pretend you didn't get a kick out of all the bondage innuendo when they're chasing each other around."

"I refuse to have anything further to do with this. Call me when you write Ayame/Shigure/Hatori high school smut already."

"Can't. Have to do this first, and I've got no bunnies for that stuff anyway. ---And you can't go anywhere; you're me."

"Poor us."

"Same to you."

I actually did think about those two when I was watching the show... but then Ayame and Hatori would show up and the smut between them would takeover my brain. ^_^

hi...i was reading the earliest entries of the Faye and Spike community, and i wanted to post a reply to one of your comments to a March 30th entry in which the person who posted it talked about how they wanted to know why people thought there was potential between F&S as a couple or what-have-you.

but for some reason, i couldn't post it...

i figure, that maybe it's because i need to join the community first...and then i can post comments.

as i'm still deciding whether i want to join or not, i thought to maybe try and post my (long, and i apologize for it) comment/question here...

i'm thinking about joining this community as even though i'm just a recent addition to the Cowboy Bebop fan community in general (since i caught the CB movie on television not too long ago and enjoyed it, and so have been doing the fansites and fanfiction thing since), i'm a total Spike and Faye shipper, and i was wondering...

does Spike really die at the end of the series?

see, when i used to live in the U.S., CB was on Cartoon Network for a while, but i wasn't interested at the time, and as i'm currently in a country (the Philippines) where there's no CB shown on the anime channel here...

my only chance to watch the series would be to buy the sessions on DVD, but i'm not sure when i'll get a chance to do that.

so i don't mind being told something of the end of the series as i'm never really spoiled by spoilers.

i hope you don't mind my question. i could have probably found a description and a full account of what happens in session #26 online somewhere, but i was reading all the stuff you were saying and it keeps being brought up that Spike died, and would things have been different had he lived.

i kind of hoped that it was left ambiguous as to if he died or not, in the final episode.

i was hoping.

but Julia does die for sure, right?

because that i thought was true.

so, yeah...very interesting what you guys have been talking about so far (i'm starting from the beginning, reading community posts, as i'm on extended "summer vacation" since i'm making the transition from having graduated from high school months ago in the U.S., to starting college early next year in Australia...so in short, i need my time killed. pleasantly:-P)...

and i hope you're not bothered by my question.

also, since i don't mind spoilers and as long as you don't mind telling me, if you don't mind...

what happens to Vicious at the end of the series? does he die, or what?
