donna_c_punk. This one was tricky to choose.

Consciously or unconsciously, people condense a multitude of meaning into it. They project their personality into it - who they are, who they wish to be, what they fear, what moves them.
Choose one of your icons, and post it up in your journal. Then ask people to comment with the first thing that comes to mind when they see that icon -- whether it's associated with the image, the text, or with the identity/mood they project on you when you're using it, whatever. Free association. See if anything fits.

2) How much I really liked that opening. The songs lyrics were simply inspiring, and the images themselves were just too sad... I felt bad for all of them, especially Naruto and Gaara.
On that thought, I realized Sasuke's past was the only one not shown. I thought this was weird until I read the part in the manga that held Sasuke's past concerning Itachi in detail... Man... sticking that in the opening would have just been horrific and spoliery for everyone.

Date: 2004-11-22 01:18 pm (UTC)The shot of Naruto rising from the water and the shot of the hundreds of Naruto dropping from the sky into the water are my two favorite shots from the 3rd opening. Especially the one in this icon, though-- because it's Naruto standing up. And Naruto rising to stand is the perfect single action you could choose to symbolize everything about his character.
Yeah, Sasuke's past was pretty sad.
