I just noticed that the voice actor for Roy Mustang on FMA is only 3 years older than me.

Whoah. I'm so used to actors always being older than me. Either I'm getting old (Nooo!! I'm only almost-21!) or they're getting younger (granted, [livejournal.com profile] mustangactor is about 5 years younger than his role), or both. Weirdness.

Note: Yes, that is Travis Willingham's actual LJ. Actors have LJs now! Ahh, it's nice to know that people with cool jobs and fans can get as addicted to something as you can, and aren't off being too busy having cool jobs and fans to become victims of The LiveJournal Affliction. I was reading earlier entries and it turns out the only con he's ever been to was Ani-Magic this year. Damn! I had the opportunity of going to that but I didn't. There's a lesson there somewhere.

It's curious... on the one hand it's cool, cause it's like knowing the VA's website but it just gets funnelled onto your flist instead of you having to go to another website to check for updates. On the other hand it's kind of odd because with actors, even small-time voice actors, there's like a line of fan activities versus production-people activities (actors being part of production of the product we're a fan of), and LJ sits on the fan-side of the line, normally.

It's...different.
