Wow. It's been a while since I got one of those. I think it's been actually like 4 years since I've gotten out-right flamed. (actually that's not as cool as it sounds... I don't ever get enough reviewers to get flamed regularly, so this is only the second real flame after the one 4 years ago) I think it kind of kills the point to sign it as "dumbass" though.

But....WAIT! What do you know? ... I have a brand new Hughes icon that's perfect for this. SUFFER THE DISTAIN OF HUGHES! ALL SHALL LOVE ME AND DESPAIR!

I had hoped the phrases "rosy cheeks" and "lay sleeping on her bed" in the first sentence would clue people in to the fact that it was a spoof. If the title and summary had somehow managed not to.

Wanna know something funny? The villain of my little parody, Itachi, was a character I hadn't even gotten to in the series when I wrote this. I was writing him totally off the bad fanfic I had read. Having since been exposed to his character and fully caught up with the series, it amuses me even more now because my parody is totally off-base, yet still resembles the fic I've read.

I'm fiercely attached to it and want to share it with the world. Because Hughes would never say that (he's a family man), therefore if he did say that you know you would truly deserve it. Hee. There's a post a few days ago in my journal with all the versions of the icon up for sharing.
