I think my goldfish died overnight. Edward and Mulder have been floating on their sides near the top of the water since around 1:30 last night, and I think 11 hours is plenty of time to have slept and woken up again. Tasuki, who was swimming fine when I went to bed, is now floating stationary on the bottom. Last night my roommate convinced me that Mulder and Edward were just faking it, doing some kind of sleeping thing, but I think they're dead. It's kind of sad.

Edit: So, I sent Mulder, Tasuki, and little Edward down the toilet. They were definitely dead. I expected them to last at least a week; what cheap goldfish. I made sure to flush, though. I actually considered just leaving them there to freak out the next person who used the bathroom, but realistically there's only 8 girls and they'd all know it was my fish in the toilet, so the joke wouldn't have been all that funny.

Sorry about your goldfish. :(

My friend got a beta from the store recently and it died within a week. A lot of these stores and shops just don't take good care of their fish...or maybe they're just really old. Who knows.
