::watching episode 1 of Sailor Moon, live action, in Japanese with fansubs::

1. Ha! Mamoru's still kind of an ass in any season 1 incarnation.

2. What? They're using the Cresent Moon Wand? NO! CONTINUITY RAPE! CONTINUITY RAPE! That wand doesn't appear till they have the silver crystal and the silver crystal doesn't appear until 2/3 into the first season after everyone learns the secret identities and Mamoru sacrifices himself for Usagi and is "killed" by Zoicite. She's supposed to use her tiara.

3. Jadeite's actor and costume makes me snicker.

She uses the tiara occasionally, too. Live Action is fun because they use more than one attack, and don't have to "power up" and get a new attack for them to always use.
