Last week, in a moment of pondering current events, I told my parents that if I was vegetative and braid-dead and stuff to most definitely pull the feeding tube out.

My Dad told me not to worry cause if I was brain-dead they'd never put me on a feeding tube in the first place.

I said okay, that works for me.

He then proceeded to tell me that if I wanted anything to be legally binding, however, I should write up a statement, sign it with a notary, and have it put in my safety deposit box.

I asked him if we even had safety deposit boxes (since moving down here). He said not yet.

Well, I can't afford a notary anyway.

Also? Don't put important emergency stuff in a safety deposit box. It takes forever to get at that stuff. Put your stolen diamonds there instead.
