I want Himeno to forget about boring Hayate and go for the sexy and soon-to-be-evil-I'm-sure-Sasame. That would spice things up a bit.

Post-Episode: Hm. So that's how it is. Well, no suprise there.

I like Hayate more now than I did at first, but I still kind of agree. Himeno/Sasame would be more interesting.

I don't like Hayate much at all, but he's at least a little better in the last few episodes. I don't know why Himeno likes him so much, though. What's to like besides the pretty face.

I actually found the tension between Sasame and Hayate more interesting. Not in a slashy way, in that way where we don't know what's going on in Sasame's head and why he's got this passive-agressive dislike of Hayate.

Now, obviously, we know... he was in love with with Takako for real while Hayate rejected her.

Silly Sasame. He should have just gone after Takako himself. She would have forgotten all about Hayate and never turned evil and all this could have been avoided.

Right now I'm watching this show out of curiosity for how it's going to end and a desire to finish what I start. As a series it does little for me so far. It feels like Sailor Moon and I've already been there, done that, and like the characters more.

Still, it seems everyone says the ending is good, so I hope someone posts the last eps soon.

I like him when he's all dorky and stuff. It always amuses me when characters like him reveal their inner dork.

But, I can see what you mean. I often don't understand why the female leads in anime fall for characters like Hayate. I think that's why I end up reading so much alternate pairing fic.

For serious. I don't know how she could stay hung up on Hayate with Sasame there for the taking.
