My favorite thing was Ford, and I didn't really expect that at all. But he was. Barely two minutes on screen and he stopped being Mos Def and started being Ford Prefect in my mind's eye.

Also, GIP. I made several very nice bases of these two from this one image. Curses to the mangaka for making artwork so pretty that I can take one image and cut it 5 different ways and do each way with a different color tone and LOVE THEM ALL.

Also, Magatsu is so Kakashi. I mean, come on.

Hitchhikers: Saw it last night, and wasn't let down, though I did think it suffered in spots. But it was so much FUN, and looked so good, and the characters were all portrayed so well that I was definitely not disappointed. :)

I too loved Ford, as did Dan. Myself though, I seriously thought he was a bit underplayed. I recall him as having more "face time" in the books, but maybe he's just such a scene-stealing character in them, and I don't think they let Mos Def steal enough scenes. ;) (that towel-as-weapon should have been MUCH more appreciated. *giggles*)
