every time I come across an above-average music video for Fruits Basket I have to pimp it. Because they are rare.

Date: 2005-05-04 08:01 am (UTC)'Kay! Sending the Alizee and the Natasha St. Pier. "Francophone" is actually kind of a misnomer for Madeline Peyroux, though. I mean, she *is* French, but the song I have on my comp. is in English. Still want it? She's got a gorgeous style.

Oh! Please do. :)

I have to warn you-- this song is insanely catchy. You'll be singing it in your sleep. And the lyrics are fairly slow, so it's easier for us non-native speakers to sing along.

Heh. Thanks. :)
Speaking of music and vids -- have you seen the Veronica Mars vids "A Better Son" and "Feeling Good"? If not, I can send them over. They're awesome.
Re: FB vid recs part 1
Date: 2005-05-04 08:29 am (UTC)I'd love them.
I don't have any particular preferences, no. I hate rap and country, but i'm open to a lot of other things. Recently I've been more interested in techno and dance stuff, since it's a genre I don't have a lot of music for.

"A Better Son" is my favorite of them for the character stuff it does, though I really like the way "Feeling Good" uses paralells. Total Eclipse of the Heart is just great fun, really. :)
